  • Learnt that if you printed all the source code for windows 7 in a 12pt font the stack of paper would be as big as the world trade center.
  • Learnt that Bare Metal means without an OS
  • Learnt that on a VM a Bridged connection means it uses the same port but didn't work at Tafe because port security blocked it because it noticed there are two MAC addresses and it denied the second one.
  • Learnt that in VM NAT means it makes it look like the Host OS sent the packets
Lecturer made a valid point about Apple in that they hardly ever say they did something wrong, they like to look like they're Perfect which they are defiantly not.
